What to know about 32-inch TVs
Thirty-two inches is the smallest size most people wall-mount, and the one most often hung carelessly because it weighs about as much as a full grocery bag. It still deserves a stud: on a swing arm in a kitchen, the leverage on the screws is several times the TV’s weight.
Most 32-inch sets are 720p or 1080p rather than 4K, which is fine at this size — from more than about four feet away you can’t see the difference. Check the VESA pattern before buying a bracket; many small TVs use 100×100, which the wide plates made for living-room TVs don’t fit.
Typical rooms for this size: kitchens, dorm rooms, small bedrooms, RVs and desks.
